The British Drum Co AXIAL bass drum is designed and built exclusively in Britain to the same exacting standards as the innovative AXIAL snare drum. This pipe band bass drum features an 8-ply 5mm Grade ‘A’ Scandinavian Birch shell with 45° bearing edges ensuring optimum drumhead resonance. Designed to complement the AXIAL snare and tenor drums, the AXIAL bass drum also includes powdercoat finish low-mass claws and lugs, and brushed silver hoops as standard. Unique to the AXIAL range is the innovative FlipBack™ Quick Release System with Nitrile ‘O’ rings to eliminate detuning, and SecureLoc™ tensioning system with pivoting captive claws for fast, trouble-free drumhead changes and tuning. All AXIAL bass drums are factory-fitted with Remo Powermax drumheads and supplied with a British Drum Co Magnetik Marching Drum Key.

Available as standard in Cosmic Black Sparkle, Cosmic Blue Sparkle, Cosmic Green Sparkle, Cosmic Purple Sparkle, Cosmic Red Sparkle and Cosmic Silver Sparkle high gloss shell finish with colour co-ordinated claws and lugs. Upgrade to Ultra sparkle fade and burst and Reserve wood veneer shell finishes with full custom powdercoat hardware and personalisation at additional cost.
